Self-catering cottages

The Gardeners Cottages provide luxury, self-catering rental accommodation on the banks of Loch Lomond, within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The holiday cottages are quiet and secluded on the west side of Loch Lomond.

Golf, walking, activities

We are adjacent to the Carrick Golf Course - a new course of championship standard. The world class Loch Lomond Golf Course is only 4 miles north on the shores of Loch Lomond. There are many other excellent golf courses in the area. This is a great area for walking, cycling, fishing and water sports. We are happy to advise and help you organise your activities.

Loch Lomond is a renowned location for romantic weddings and we have hosted many brides and grooms and guests in our cottages.

We have three holiday rental cottages on the shores of Loch Lomond:

They are situated in the wooded grounds of Arden House, which is on the shores of the Loch. The cottages and garden are about 100 metres from the shore. The row of cottages is built along one side of a magnificent Victorian walled garden dating back to the 1860's which it is available for the recreation of our guests.

The breathtaking scenery of the surrounding heather-covered mountains makes this place so special. And Loch Lomond itself, immortalised in the well known traditional Scottish Song "The Bonnie Banks o' Loch Lomond" , is indeed one of the most beautiful lochs in Scotland.

The cottages look out onto an enclosed area of lawn, trees and shrubs where you can often see rabbits and squirrels while you are having breakfast, or in Spring, families of ducks wandering about on expeditions from the loch.

"An excellent breakaway from the stresses and strains of modern city working life. The location is ideal, the setting beautiful, and Andy and Avril are brilliant. The small touches found on arrival are the best welcome anyone can ever have!" Jody and Jose Quercus.
